- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
Dr Oanh Nguyen is a Senior Research Fellow and NHMRC EL1 Investigator Fellow at the University of Melbourne (Peter Doherty Institute). Her research focus is on clinical immunology, defining protective, long-lasting immune mechanisms that underpin rapid recovery from life-threatening respiratory viral infections in hospitalised patient cohorts, including influenza and COVID-19. Investigations of optimal T cell and B cell immunity across a range of clinical settings following infection and vaccination has led to her seminal publications in SARS-CoV-2 (Immunity 2022, Immunity 2021, Nature Med 2020) and influenza viruses (Nature Comm 2021, Nature Imm 2019, J Clin Invest 2018, Sci Trans Med 2018). Dr Oanh Nguyen has over 85 publications including publications in Cell, Nature, Nature Medicine (x2), Immunity (x3), Nature Immunology and Nature Communications (x6).
