James Beeson is Co-Head of the Centre for Biomedical Research at the Burnet Institute, and leads the Malaria Immunity and Vaccines research group. His work is largely focused on clinical and population studies of malaria in Africa, Asia and Papua New Guinea and primarily aims to understand human immunity to malaria and develop vaccines against malaria.
